US successfully migrated old cells into young cells.

US scientists successfully converted old cells of the human body into young cells, marking an important milestone in aging research in humans.

Telomeres are "protective caps" at the ends of chromosomes.

According to the research team at the University of Stanford, the process increases the length of telomeres (protective caps at the end of chromosomes, which affects the aging and illness) may prolong human life, opened hy new hope in the battle with illness in old age.

The hood protects telomeres shorter after each DNA replication. Finally, it is no longer able to protect DNA from damage and prevent mutation, makes people grow older. In young people, telomere length from 8,000-10,000 organic molecules, or nucleotides.

Experts use technology lengthens telomeres, which successfully converted old cells of the human body into young cells.

"Now we have found methods of human telomeres lengthen 1,000 nucleotides, turn back the internal status of the cells, the equivalent of years of human life", Grimsby Telegraph quoted Helen Blau, home Research at Stanford University, said.

"Someday, this method may affect stem cells in the muscles of patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy by lengthening their telomeres. In addition, it is also applicable for the treatment of aging , such as diabetes and heart disease, "Helen said.
